WWB sets up carbon unit

Webber Wentzel Bowens (WWB) has become South Africa's first law firm to establish a dedicated carbon unit to tap into the growing demand for specialist advisory knowledge.

Johann Scholtz, a partner at Webber Wentzel Bowens, said yesterday that the law firm had already been involved in projects to convert animal manure and greenhouse gas emissions to electricity.
