cabinet to approve simplified  BEE codes

The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) has finalised the empowerment Codes of Good Practice and the codes are to be presented to Cabinet in September for approval.

A Director of the DTI said that the scorecards have been simplified and that the key principles contained in the first draft had remained unchanged.
