Honour Medal Programme

Established in 2010 as an initiative to reward exceptional performance by law graduates across South Africa, the PH Honour Medal Programme is the highest award given to law graduates that achieve their LL.B-degree cum laude (with honour). The programme currently runs at Emeris (IIE Varsity College), Stellenbosch University, University of KwaZulu-Natal, Rhodes University, University of the Free State, University of Johannesburg, North-West University, Nelson Mandela University, University of Pretoria and the University of the Western Cape and has since the programme inception been awarded over 1700 law graduates.

Vacation Programmes

Various member firms host vacation programmes throughout the year which provide a wonderful opportunity for students to get to know the firms and learn more about the practice of law. Many firms recruit extensively from graduates who attend their vacation programmes, so make sure to create your profile on the Careers Portal in order to view and apply for upcoming vacation programmes.
