In 2026, the PH Group marks a remarkable milestone - 20 years since its founding in 2006. What began as a visionary initiative by the Bloemfontein‑based law firm, PH Attorneys, has evolved into South Africa’s largest network of associated law firms, reshaping the country’s legal landscape through collaboration, innovation, and shared purpose. 

The PH Group was established in 2006 with a clear mission: to empower law firms to position themselves for the future by leveraging the economies of scale, national visibility, and collective expertise that a large, unified legal network could offer. 

Recognising the increasing pressure on independent firms to remain competitive in a rapidly evolving legal environment, the founders envisioned a structure that would preserve individual firm identity while providing the benefits of belonging to a national network.
