Preferential Procurement
Preferential Procurement is a priority for all enterprises, particularly where formal BEE
verification is needed. Law firms are similarly pressed to focus on their procurement and ensure
that the procurement from verified black suppliers and service providers is maximised. The
Group’s centralised procurement company, GroupServe (Pty) Ltd, has also assisted in aligning
and supporting black suppliers and service providers, with recognised procurement expenditure
in 2022 amounting to R125 million, escalating to R130 million in 2023.
