Member firms aspire to be New Breed Law Firms™ thereby differentiating themselves from their
competitors. Being a New Breed Law Firm embodies the spirit of our Group Values and ensures
that a member firm is truly a South African law firm capable of meeting the needs of its clients and
representing the diversity of South Africa.

The PH Group also has well-established Group Standards to which member firms are required
to align themselves and continuously strive to improve their adherence. To monitor compliance
and progress, the PH Group conducts a certification process every two years and provides rec-
ognition through the allocation of Group Awards to top-performing firms. The certification process
follows a comprehensive evidence-based review of each member firm’s adherence to the Group
      Standards.

Our Group Standards have been developed around the service triangle for professional firms
and focus on standards for client service, staff satisfaction, firm management, transformation
and PH Group involvement and overall collaboration. The Group Standards are underpinned by
the Group Values and jointly contribute to firms aspiring to be seen as New Breed Law Firms™.

Only member firms of the PH Group can be a New Breed Law Firm™ and embody the central
objective of the group to, not only, ensure that each member firm is a leading firm in its exclusivity
area, but is also a well-managed, compliant, ethical and diversified South African law firm.

Through our New Breed Law Firm Awards, the PH Group provides recognition to top-performing
member firms and acknowledges their progress toward New Breed Law Firms™. The awards
are allocated after the completion of the biennial certification process and allow member firms
to showcase their performance to their clients and staff. Each award remains valid for two years
      from the date of award.
