Honour Medal Programme
To increase awareness and position the PH Group positively as a career option for top law
graduates, the PH Group Honour Medal Programme was established in 2010. The programme
recognises graduates that achieve their LL.B degrees Cum Laude and at some universities
also Summa Cum Laude.
PH Group Honour Medals are awarded annually to top qualifying law graduates across South
Africa at formal prize-giving functions of 9 of South Africa’s top Law Faculties. In 2022 and
2023, 277 PH Group Honour Medals were awarded to deserving graduates, bringing the total
tally of honour medals awarded since the inception of the programme 14 years ago to 1 435.
