We have entered the month of October in what
has become Wills-month primarily due to the Legal Practice Council’s Wills-week
from 26 to 30 October 2020.
The drafting of wills has unfortunately become
a notarial hobby with Tom, Dick and Harry proclaiming to be experts therein.
The result has been a drive towards mass production of a one-size-fits-all
solution. In the process various planning and legal tools have fallen into
disuse whereby the testator and the beneficiaries do not maximize their benefit
from a carefully considered, bespoke last will and testament.
There are experts
at your disposal in different sectors of the services industry, choose wisely,
because one size does not fit all.
